Unbeaten LEAGUE WINNERS for our Snugboro Ladies Masters! πŸ†πŸ’™πŸ’›What a way to finish our debut season - unbeaten league champions and popping the champagne to celebrate in true Boro style! πŸ₯‚From the very first kick of the ball, this team has been about commitment, camaraderie and lifting each other up. πŸ’ͺ Every single player played their part in making history for the Snugboro Ladies and in building friendships that will last long beyond this season. πŸ₯°Massive credit to our brilliant management duo Declan Ormsby and Jason Ormsby for their leadership and belief in us all season long. And to a club that truly feels like family ❀️ thank you to everyone who helped with admin, and to those who supported us at every single game. We definitely had the biggest and loudest support week in, week out! πŸ’™πŸ’›When our final fixture was cancelled, huge thanks to Castlebar Celtic ☘️ for stepping in at the last minute with a challenge game. It’s always a great local battle with great friends on both sides - and this was no different!! An unstoppable header from Maeve-Anne midway through the first half put Boro ahead, and just before the break a perfect link-up from Sulli to Gillian made it 2–0. The second half brought chances at both ends and some epic saves, but the scoreline stayed in Boro’s favour on this occasion. This season brought unforgettable highs - and sadly, some real lows. Losing our brother, our dear friend and a great Boro clubman, Eamonn, was one of those moments. But through it all, this team showed what working together looks like - we carried each other, we played for each other, and we won this for him in the end. πŸ’™πŸ’›Here’s to an incredible first season πŸ‘ And to the beginning of our Ladies Senior Season! #HontheBoro ... Great start in the Castlecourt League Premier Division today for the Boro men. Goals from Zac Collins, Eoin Morris, Odhran Donnelly, Jason Ormsby, & Roddick, helped our lads to a 5-4 win, and get the three points against a determined S&F side today in difficult condition, well done to both sides on a great game.
