We would like to wish Ms McHale all the very best in her retirement! With so many of our past and present players having passed through St Peters National school during her tenure there are so many connections 🟡🔵⚽ Catherine has always been a great supporter of the club and It must have been a very proud day for her when her son Tom and his teammates paraded the 2024 u16 Connacht Shield around the School last year. We look forward to seeing Catherine around the club supporting the Boro for many years to come. Well done on a fantastic career and enjoy your retirement! See you around!![]()

Congratulations to Castlebar Golf Club on winning their All-Ireland Mary McKenna Diamond Trophy at Woodenbridge Golf Club.
So it wasn't to be for our under 18 lads this evening as Castlebar Celtic advanced to the Quigley Cup final with a 2 1 victory but only after extra time. Our lads went ahead midway through the first half to lead 1 0 at the break and this was still the scoreline after 90 minutes but a very long period of stoppage time was played and Celtic took full advantage with a late strike to force extra time. Celtic scored again in the second period of extra time to go 2 1 up and penalties looked likely for a moment when our lads scored to equalize only for the goal to be harshly ruled out for offside. Overall it's been a very good season for our lads with the division one title in the bag but the lads will be disappointed after a few decisions went against them on the night but that's life and that's sport. Next up for these boys will be a Connacht Cup tie in a few weeks.... #hontheboro #🟡🔵⚽️

About Us
Founded in 1986, Snugboro are a soccer club based just outside Castlebar. They currently have teams at all age groups from U12 to Adult, boys and girls. 2016 is their 30th anniversary and also sees the official opening of the clubhouse by An Taoiseach Enda Kenny.
